Today’s world is the world of the Internet. We cannot even imagine our life without it whether it is Banking, Shopping, Paying Bills, Booking Tickets, Availing Online Courses, Promoting Business, Finding Jobs etc. There is no denial of the fact that the Internet has not only made our lives better but hassle free as well. Gone are the days when you used to waste hours in standing in a queue for bills or getting the movie tickets. Now, you just have to go online and book your tickets and that too in less time.
The driving force behind the Internet is World Wide Web (or web). The web is the repository of information stored on thousands of Web Servers over the Internet. The information on the web is organized in the form of websites and Web applications.
In B. S. Anangpuria Institute of Technology & Management at our department of Computer Science & Engineering, we start with the basic introduction of designing Web sites using HTML and JavaScript in Web Development and Core Java Lab.
The students are also provided with the knowledge of Java programming language which is considered as a powerful language for creating web applications. The Lab comprises a number of programs which provides the students with all the basic and essential knowledge of Java concepts such as Packages, Interfaces, Applets, Exception Handling, File I/O etc
In addition to these programs, students have to design a Web site for the College as well.
