In B. S. Anangpuria Institute of Technology & Management at our department of Computer Science & Engineering, and Information technology we are having Internet Lab in the Fourth Semester.

Internet Lab is a course designed to guide the student through the Internet and its wide array of useful resources.

Initially, we Start with, how to use key Internet technologies, such as Web browsers, e-mail, newsgroups, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Telnet, and search engines.

The student will gain experience configuring both Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer to access rich multimedia, including RealPlayer, Shockwave, and Flash content.

The student will use a variety of Web-based search engines to conduct advanced searches and learn basic electronic commerce and security issues.

Internet lab is designed for the students so that they can learn about internet and Internet Explorer. How to Send and receive electronic mails?

Students will explore the web, working with web pages, customizing the search features and performing advanced searches.

Introduction to chat rooms, how to connect and chat will be there. Usage of telnet and FTP servers.

Students will do programs on lists, tables, CSS, frames, forms, JavaScript and include the basic tags of Hypertext Markup Languages.

In the end, the student will be able to design a website by including HTML tags and JavaScript. They can also provide different styles to their webpages by using CSS with HTML.

Students can do projects related to website development. They can make static as well dynamic websites.
